As many of you know, I have picked up a pretty interesting summer photography gig that has me vagabonding across Toronto and Ontario gathering original snaps for a new World Cultures course for Ontario distance education. I am having a blast and learning a lot along the way. However, with about a month left to gather all of my shots, I found this week that I am running short of photo business cards. What to do???

In today’s age of privacy it is so important to be able to identify yourself before taking photos “out in the wild”, to ask permission, and to provide some sort of “photo resume” or calling card that identifies who you are, what you do and how you can be contacted. For the past five years or so I have been handing out original photos printed on business cards devised by me with the help of an on-line printing company called Moo.  Yes, Moo. Moo is an irreverent, easy to use site that helps you customize your business cards with personal designs or photography. The cards are both beautiful and substantial. They are made of thick, glossy stock that help you stick out in a crowd of cards. (You can also choose to use lighter weight, environmentally friendly stock.) I typically choose 25 of my latest snaps for my sets.

So, here is my conundrum. This time I have well over 30 photos chosen and need to narrow my selection down before going to press this week.  I have uploaded all of my choices to my photo website and you will see that I have picked a variety of shots from floral, to pastoral, to Canadian landscapes and visuals that support the theme of travel (read lots of globes!). I typically grab a handful when I go on the road for a photo shoot and let folks choose their favourite. I need your help narrowing down my choices!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come on over and visit my Moo Card Gallery HERE. Peruse the lot and let me know which one or ones are your favourite. Below each photo is a comment icon that looks like a speech bubble. That’s where you can tell me what you think and which you choose. Before next Sunday’s post I will draw one winner from all participants who will receive a framed photo of your choice as a thank you for participating and helping this vagabond photographer out.

Thanks to all of you for your continued support. I hope you know that your visits here mean the world to me!
