At last! Out in Vancouver today you could hear the audible sighs of relief as a sunny, warm day made a rare appearance. All across Canada this spring we have been anticipating the arrival of not only summer weather, but in some places, even spring-like weather. And when it does actually appear, the mass exodus for patios, gardens and playing fields begins and it is wonderful to behold!
Today I caught a flight very bright and early (7 am) to Vancouver and enjoyed spending a sunny day tooling about one of my favourite Vancouver neighbourhoods, Kitsilano Beach. It is a neighbourhood that puts the fun in funky! And I felt right at home. I took the snap above on one of the many cherry tree lined streets in “Kits” as proof that summer is not far off.
