As I sit in my wee apartment on the boardwalk here in Toronto, I can hear the waves of Lake Ontario crashing on shore, and see the bright twinkling lights that adorn the trees along the boardwalk and envelope the Leuty Lifeguard Station. It is Christmas dear readers! It is official. And why do I say that today of all days? And what on earth does Christmas have to do with today’s photo you ask? Good questions. I’m glad you asked!
I took today’s photo outside of the Rockefeller Centre in New York and tonight is the official lighting of the Christmas Tree just below this Art Deco doorway. Nothing says holidays in New York like the famous Rockefeller tree and skating rink! I can’t help wishing I was back there soaking up the atmosphere in perhaps the coolest city in the world. I must find my way back there some day.
In the meantime, I have some snaps to remind me of my time there. If you haven’t had a chance to check them out, please visit my website here, and join me tonight in watching that tree sparkle.
