If it hadn’t been for all the snow, and the fact that I visited on New Year’s Day (the day when the world shuts down…not a bad thing!), I would have stayed all day in Creemore. If you haven’t been to this charming small town, you must go. Why? Wonderful restaurants, delicious book stores, galleries dripping with local flavour, interior design and decor shops, stunning Victorian architecture and…of course…Creemore Springs Brewery. It’s never a bad time for a “barley sandwich” as my Dad would say. I have visited now several times and will go back again soon when the shops are open. Especially for the candles pictured here:
This picture now adorns my computer screen as lively wallpaper. Before I leave you for a week (heading down to a conference in Niagara-on-the-Lake), I’d also like to thank the Creemore BIA who found my blog on Friday, and featured my New Year’s Day post on their blog. One good turn certainly deserves another. For more info on Creemore, check out: http://creemore.wordpress.com/ If you haven’t already done so and would like to see a few more snaps from my snowy Creemore adventure, please check out this gallery on my website: http://pattihenderson.smugmug.com/Travel/January-Adventures-2010/10825194_D7nAa#755338763_rWpWH
Have a great week everyone. Go to Creemore if you can.
You’re quite welcome and I will be back up again soon!
