This past weekend’s photo adventure took me to my favourite neighbourhood in Toronto, The Distillery District. Someday when I grow up I will live there in an artsy loft. For now, I just enjoy taking the 501 streetcar down to this neighbourhood every so often to soak up the atmosphere. Picture cobblestone streets where no vehicle dare tread (except for the old Dodge pickup above). Warehouses converted into sleek galleries. Funky restaurants and cafes beckoning you to drop in and dine (I did have the best bowl of chili EVER in the Mill Street Brew Pub and a comforting cup of joe in Cafe Uno…)
And…there is a scruffy, rugged, ragged, edgy photo around every corner.

I’m lovin’ your colours… reminds me of a Wes Anderson film.
Hey thanks Glen. How’s life treating you out in PG?
The colours here are grey-green, grey-brown, grey, and white. It wants to be winter but hasn’t made up it’s mind. Think about what or who IT might be. Life is busy, cool and demanding courses, some Distance Ed course design, some Pearson projects, wood to chop, lights to hang, etc. and all of us at home seem to have a post-flu cold right now. Can’t complain, though. How’s life treating you?
