Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  As I sit here in my post-turkey track pants, I’m struck by just how challenging it was this weekend to find some fall colours to snap.  Yesterday morning I woke up to brilliant sunshine so thought “let’s go” and my trusty Jeep and I headed north in search of colour.  Turned out the drive was longer than expected but well worth it.  I wound up north of Huntsville in the environs of Burk’s Falls, Magnetewan and eventually Bala.  I’ll share a few highlights here, with more to be posted on my web site (www.pattihenderson.smugmug.com) perhaps tomorrow.

The drive home today was equally challenging as the crisp fall Muskoka morning turned into blustery snow squalls.  Too soon!

Oh well, I made it home in one piece, and thankful!  Have a great long weekend everyone!
